Why does my 256GB CF card only show 128GB or less when it's inserted into a card reader?

Older card readers use 28-bit LBA to detect the capacity of CF cards. However, LBA-28 can only support up to 128GB. If the capacity of your CF card is larger than 128GB, the card reader may fail to detect the capacity. To solve this issue, we suggest that you use a newer model of card reader, such as Transcend RDC8/RDF9, for high capacity CF cards.
